Local Color – 02.10.2012

I found a new farm today. Well, not a new farm, but a farm that I have not previously visited. It was great: broken buildings and rustic gloom all over the place. Despite the bright sun shining over the architecture, there was a darkness surrounding the scene. (It may have had something to do with the creepy vulture-like birds flying overhead.) An inspiration for a future shoot started to formulate. And there will definitely be more to come on that shortly. Before that, however, I took a little walk around an environment in almost direct contrast to the barbed wire protected landmarks at the farm.

The morning sun illuminated downtown Phoenixville today. Bridge Street seemed relatively quiet, except of course for the vibrant colors coating the shops and restaurants that lined the sidewalk.
