2011 Featured Images: Red Bridge

Washington Crossing Historic Park

I was only able to grab a few quick shots of this bridge as it came across our path towards the end of a very long day. It was, however, a pretty great day: beginning with a hike at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve followed by lunch in New Hope.  We of course had to stop by our favorite toy store in Peddler’s Village and grab some ice cream at Pigadilly’s.  I was extremely jealous of the little one’s ability nap on the way home. We will return to explore again in the near future and I hope to go a bit further down the river to see what is just beyond that bend. Next time, we’ll just make the river our first stop.
